The Waldeinsamkeit Screen

Katie draws ongoing inspiration from long walks: in fields, on cliffs and in and out of the forest. Our Waldeinsamkeit Screen pays homage to the pleasure of being amongst trees and listening to birds sing and converse amongst themselves. Waldeinsamkeit is a German word without a direct translation into English that attempts to capture a universal feeling that suits the mood of our screen just so!

Waldeinsamkeit: A feeling of solitude, being alone in the woods and connected to nature. Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote a poem about it.
