Pair of Berber Woven Cloths circa 1950

$1,000.00

This pair of handwoven cloths from the 1950s, decoratively dyed with henna details, come from the Tuareg people of southern Morocco. Tuareg means “the road” and “to travel.”  The Tuareg way of life is always on the move so many of their most beautiful things are easy to pack, such as these beautiful textiles. Katie imagines they would make for stunning sheer window shades.
