Katie’s Ikat was inspired by a wonderful 19th century Indonesian ikat Katie stumbled upon at a textile fair in Los Angeles. (These textiles have a way of getting around!) Katie’s Ikat is suitable for airy, almost sheer shades and drapery if kept unlined and for gorgeous pillows that can coordinate with any number of textures and patterns. Katie likes to interline her Ikat curtains with light weight felt to add lushness to the look without losing the airy quality of the cloth. Katie’s Ikat is digitally printed in Switzerland on light weight flax produced in Northern France, Belgium and the Netherlands and is available in three classic colourways.
