Katie fell in love with the small, delightful detail of birds (colorful fan-crested Hoopoes and Wagtails) painted in the tomb of the overseer of the Eastern Desert, Khnumhotep II, at Beni Hasan (c.1880 B.C.) and knew they’d become the centerpiece of her most ambitious design to date.  Isis is a ten-screen wonder printed in Switzerland on Belgian linen.
