Green Ceramic Tuareg Pitcher
This is a beautiful example 19th century ceramic work from the Tuareg people of the Sahara Desert, a fiercely independent and nomadic people revered for their craft work. This pitcher has a fine patina from use and age, as such a pitcher was highly prized and passed down from one generation to the next, and used to transport and serve water. This pitcher is a beautiful deep jade color, and would function beautifully as a flower vase.
