Gustavian Grain Painted Tripod Table Swedish early 19th century tilt top tripod table with original paint decoration, the top with scumble paint resembling burr alder or burl birch grain over chalky white painted base with turned shaft and gracefully shaped legs, the whole with pleasing proportions and unusually tall for its type. Circa 1820.
