Papyrus and Thatch Pillow
Katie Leede & Company’s Papyrus/Nile on face with taupe linen on back with Azure Thatch piping.
16″ x 31″ with 10/90 down feather fill
Our most popular design, Papyrus takes inspiration from the marshy scenery depicted in a wall painting from the West Bank of Thebes (c.1390 B.C.), now in the British Museum, London, while the bold, geometric repeat of the pattern was influenced by the iconic, floral patterns of William Morris’ textiles from the 1800s. Nothing makes Katie happier than to see old things made new again. Papyrus, stunning when used as full drapery or as pillow accents, is hand printed on 100% Belgian linen and is available in five colourways: Clay, Marsh, Nile, Amulet, and Amaranth.
