Kyoto Key is Katie’s take on the eponymous Greek Key or “meander” motif. The meander motif took its name from the river Meander, a river with many twists, mentioned by Homer in The Iliad. This simple, continuous, geometric design became the most important symbol in Ancient Greece symbolizing infinity or the eternal flow of things. Kyoto Key, printed in Switzerland on 100% Belgian linen, has a great scale for bedding and upholstery with a 4.5″ decorative border that can be used to create wonderful custom touches on the base of furniture and bed skirts.
